Why is the install driven by Claude Code?

Half of any new tool’s install is account signups, OAuth dances, copying API keys, fixing one-off errors. A patient agent reading the steps out loud handles those better than a multi-page setup guide. When something fails, Claude can read the error and propose a fix instead of you bouncing between the docs and Stack Overflow.

If you’d rather do it manually, pectus.md is also a manual install guide if you read it as one — every command is explicit. The agent-driven path is the recommended one.
